Yet another year went past and this print is my way of sharing a thought that came to me during a printing class. We were all given the same feather and a liquid in the same shade of blue. Yet, despite these shared materials, each of us left a distinct and unique imprint on the paper.
I noticed how the subtleties of our choices—the placement of the feather, the glide of the liquid across the surface, the gentle or firm press of the materials, shaped the outcome.
This made me reflect on the quiet significance of a preparation, those unseen moments of care and intention that ultimately define the impressions we leave behind
